Squat Clean (135/95)
Ring Dips

Oh my!  Where do I start?  I hate ring dips?  Yes, I hate ring dips!  Only because…I can’t do them :-(   Well, I take that back…I can do one, maybe two, but 45?  No way.  I was a little scared of the squat cleans, too.  My max squat clean is 115 pounds, so I didn’t think I would be able to do 45 of them at 85% of my max.  I prepared myself for a loooooong WOD.  I knew I was going to struggle, but I got through it.  I embraced the suck.  I modified the ring dips with my feet on a box behind me.  I set up my bar with 95 pounds, knowing that I could ditch 20# if I needed to.  I finished, doing one rep at a time, with 95 pounds still on the bar and my feet still on the box.  One of these days, we will meet again, Elizabeth, and I will conquer you, as Rx.
